Cheltenham Boxes – Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can a Cheltenham Box accommodate?

Our private boxes typically host 10–40 guests. Smaller groups can enjoy the same experience in one of our shared boxes.

How much is a box at Cheltenham?

Boxes at the Cheltenham Festival vary on cost depending on the location and the day you wish to attend. We have glass fronted long run boxes which start at £799 per person plus vat and overlook the final two fences and boxes in the main grandstand which start from £999. Friday, which is when the Cheltenham Gold Cup takes place, is the most expensive day to attend.

Where are the Cheltenham Boxes located?

We offer Long Run Balcony Boxes (glass-fronted and course-facing, just yards from the track) and Main Grandstand Boxes (overlooking the Winning Post). Both locations provide premium views of the racing action.

What’s included in a Cheltenham Box package?

All boxes feature gourmet dining, a complimentary bar throughout the day, a private viewing balcony, Club Enclosure admission, race cards, tote betting facilities, live TV coverage, and dedicated host/hostess service.

Are the boxes private or shared?

You can book an entire box privately for your group or opt for a shared box if you have smaller numbers — ensuring the same high level of hospitality.

Is there a dress code?

Smart raceday attire is encouraged — think jackets, ties, dresses, or smart separates. As the Festival takes place in March, warm outerwear is recommended.

How do I book a Cheltenham Box?

Simply contact our hospitality team to discuss availability and secure your preferred dates. Early booking is recommended as our boxes sell out quickly each year.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes — our hospitality team will accommodate dietary requirements and allergies if notified in advance.

Is parking included?

Parking is provided with most packages (generally one pass per two guests). Details will be confirmed at the time of booking.
