The Rocket Team had a great weekend in Monaco a couple of weeks ago although we were working, well most of the time! The race was won by Nico Rosberg after a pit strategy back fired on Lewis Hamilton which left him finishing in third place behind Nico and Sebastian Vettel.
We had several people on board our trackside yacht on Saturday and Sunday, this had a great opposite the K Grandstand and you were literally metres from the track. Our guests could come on board from 9am and enjoyed breakfast before a lavish buffet for lunch and unlimited drinks all day.
The other popular option was the Shangri La terrace hospitality. The Shangri La has excellent views of the track, you can see up to 65% of the track from these VIP terraces which are located above the starting grid. Guests get welcomed from 9am and have a full day’s hospitality including gourmet food and an open bar. For groups of 20 or more there is also the option of a private terrace.
We also had a couple of big incentive groups there this year that arrived on the Wednesday and stayed in the Fairmont Hotel which must have one of the best terrace bars in Monte Carlo. As well as the hospitality in the Shangri La Terrace on the Saturday and Sunday, they also had a lovely meal in Eze at Chevre D’or restaurant which has breath-taking views and a private meal on a yacht on the Saturday night before hitting the Amber Lounge which is the place to be seen at during the weekend. Other extras possible are helicopter transfers, day trips to Cannes and St Tropez to name but a few.
