The 2026/27 Premier League season has plenty to look forward to, from new signings and new-look teams to some outstanding fixtures at grounds across the country. For anyone considering seeing a game in person, our Premier League hospitality packages offer a range of ways to experience the action, from premium match seats and informal lounges to dining and private boxes.
The Premier League rarely needs much help generating interest, but this season has a particularly good mix. Arsenal are defending champions, the traditional challengers have strengthened, three promoted clubs are adjusting to life in the top flight and there are some terrific fixtures ahead.
And, judging by another busy summer in the transfer market, several clubs appear to have decided that patience is considerably less appealing than spending money.
Which Teams and Fixtures Should We Watch in 2026/27?
Arsenal begin the season as defending champions, but retaining the Premier League title is rarely straightforward. Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham all have their own ambitions, while another summer of transfer activity has changed the look of several squads.
Whether all that money proves to have been wisely spent is another matter. Football has never worked quite that conveniently.
There is interest further down the league too. Coventry City, Hull City and Ipswich Town are the newcomers for 2026/27, while Leeds United are another club we’ll be watching closely. Elland Road remains one of those grounds where the atmosphere is very much part of the occasion.
For us, though, some of the biggest attractions of a Premier League season are the individual matchdays.
If We Could Pick Five Premier League Matchdays, Which Would We Choose?
Liverpool v Man United at Anfield would be very difficult to leave out. It’s one of English football’s great rivalries and recent form, league position and sensible predictions have a habit of becoming rather less relevant when these two meet.
Then there’s Arsenal v Tottenham. There is no such thing as just another three points when the North London derby comes around, and experiencing it from Club Level at the Emirates would be high on our list.
Arsenal v Man City is another big fixture, particularly with the potential significance it could have later in the title race. It also provides a very different hospitality experience from Anfield or Elland Road.
For a traditional football atmosphere, we’d choose Leeds v Man United at Elland Road. Leeds also welcome Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal during the season, but the visit of Manchester United is the one that always stands out.
And for the stadium experience itself, we’d include a big Tottenham home game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. We may face accusations of bias from the Spurs supporters in the Rocket office, but it’s difficult to argue with the quality of the stadium and its hospitality facilities.
Of course, five is rather arbitrary. Old Trafford, Villa Park, the Etihad and Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium all offer completely different reasons for making the trip.
What Is the Best Way to Experience a Premier League Match?
There isn’t really one answer because Premier League hospitality has changed enormously. It doesn’t automatically mean formal dining, a jacket and tie and spending the afternoon talking business.
Some of the most popular packages combine an excellent match ticket with access to an informal lounge, food and drinks. Others include restaurant dining, complimentary bars and former-player appearances, while private boxes offer more privacy for groups.
A couple or group of friends may prefer premium seats and informal hospitality. A business entertaining clients might want a restaurant or private box. A family celebrating a birthday may simply want great seats, good food and somewhere comfortable to enjoy the build-up.
The best option depends on who’s going, the fixture and what you want from the day.
Premier League dates and kick-off times can also change for television and cup competitions, so it’s worth checking confirmed match arrangements before finalising flights, hotels or trains.
