If you are looking for a private facility to entertain your guests at the 2027 Ashes, we have a range of boxes at the Oval that can cater for parties of various sizes. You will also have a visit from a cricketing legend during the day.
The private boxes are in the JM Finn stand and Bedser stands. The boxes all offer stunning views of the Oval pitch and you have your own private seating area outside. Private boxes are the first facilities to sell out for an Ashes Test at the Oval, so early enquiry is strongly recommended.

Sample Oval Box Hospitality Itinerary
- 9.00am: Gates open: Make your way to your private box
- 9.30am: Breakfast with tea, coffee and juices is served
- 11.00am: Play starts and the bar opens
- 1.00pm: After a glass of champagne, your luncheon is served with a selection of fine wines which is followed by coffee
- 1.40pm: Play resumes
- 3.40pm: Afternoon tea is served
- 6.00pm: Scheduled end of play
- 6.30pm: Bar closes (or 30 minutes after the close of play, whichever is earliest)
- 7.00pm: Boxes close and guests depart (or one hour after the close of play)

Oval Boxes – Frequently Asked Questions
What time does hospitality start and finish?
Oval hospitality packages start at 9am, with play beginning at 11am. Hospitality finishes at approximately 7pm, so you can enjoy the full day’s play with food and drinks either side.
How do I get to The Oval?
The Oval is one of London’s easiest grounds to reach. Oval station (Northern Line) is a two-minute walk away, Vauxhall (Victoria Line and national rail) is around ten minutes on foot, and several bus routes stop right outside the ground.
Is there car parking at The Oval?
There is no general public parking at the ground on match days and local road closures may be in place, so we strongly recommend travelling by public transport.
What is the dress code for private boxes?
Smart casual. Please avoid ripped jeans, sportswear and casual trainers.
How many guests can a private box at The Oval hold?
Boxes at the Oval cater for groups of various sizes, from around 8 guests up to 24, depending on the stand. Tell us your group size and we’ll recommend the best option.
Which stands are the private boxes located in?
We have boxes available in the JM Finn stand and the Bedser stand. Both offer excellent views of the pitch.
Do the boxes have their own balcony?
Yes — every box comes with a private outdoor seating area on its own balcony. Please note there is not always one outside seat per guest, but all guests have excellent viewing from the box itself.
Can I book a private box for a smaller group?
If your group is too small to take a full box, we can offer shared hospitality options such as the Corinthian Roof Terrace or the Duchy Suite, which provide the same quality of food, drink and views in a shared setting.
What food and drink is included in an Oval private box?
Private box packages include breakfast on arrival, a champagne / sparkling wine reception, a fine dining lunch with wines, afternoon tea and a complimentary bar throughout the day, all served in your box.
