The Guide to Debentures at Wimbledon
What is a Wimbledon Debenture?
Wimbledon Debenture tickets are simply the best seats on Centre and Number One Court. As such, they are highly sought-after. Debentures are issued every five years and give the debenture holder a ticket to each day of the Wimbledon Championships. On Centre Court there are around 2500 debenture seats for each of the 13 days of play for each Wimbledon tournament. There are 1,000 debenture seats overlooking Number One court across 10 days of tennis each year.
How to buy Wimbledon Debentures
There are two options.
Buying a Wimbledon debenture outright
The 2016-2020 Centre Court Debentures cost £50,000 each and the 2021-2025 price is £80,000 each. The funds raised are generally used to finance improvements to Wimbledon and its facilities. In the past these have included putting a roof on Centre and Number One courts.
Every five years the AELTC offers people the chance to become Debenture Holders via a ballot. However only a limited number are issued, and priority goes to existing Debenture holders, besides people very rarely give up their Debenture seats. Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers have partnered with the AELTC and run a weekly auction for those wishing to become Debenture Holders

What are the advantages of Debenture seats at Wimbledon?
The main advantage is that you are guaranteed a seat for every day of the tournament whether that be on Centre Court or Number One Court.

Debenture seats are the best seats overlooking the show-courts and tend to be mid-way up.
On Centre Court most Debenture seats are the same level as the Royal box i.e. level two.
There is also a Debenture Holders’ car park.
Can Debenture tickets be bought and sold on individual days during Wimbledon?
Debenture tickets are freely transferable and can be bought and sold. There are no names on Debenture tickets.
However please note that ballot tickets, sponsors tickets, LTA tickets to name but a few cannot be resold. Debenture tickets are the only tickets that can. All tickets purchased through Rocket Hospitality are 100% genuine and guaranteed.
Can you get big groupings of Debenture seats?
Debenture tickets tend to come in pairs but due to our relationships with several Debenture Holders we can get groups of up to 12 seats sat together on Centre and Number One Courts.
Wimbledon Debenture Restaurants
Debenture Holders also have access to the Debenture Holders Bars and Restaurants which are located within Centre and Number One courts. Some of these have fantastic views overlooking the outside courts.
There are several bars and restaurants within Centre and Number One court Debenture holders can use. Some must be pre-booked. These include the Champions Room and Courtside within Centre Court and the Renshaw within Number One Court. With these restaurants you pay a set price and depending on which restaurant is booked they come with lunch, afternoon tea and a complimentary bar throughout the day.
Centre Court Restaurants
Champions Room – Guests can reserve a table for the whole day and will enjoy a welcome glass of Pimm’s or Champagne upon arrival, a four-course lunch with fine wine, complimentary bar throughout the day and traditional afternoon tea.
The Courtside – At this restaurant guests can reserve a table and will enjoy a three-course lunch with cash bar for drinks. They can, for an additional cost, book afternoon tea as well with an optional glass of champagne.
Courtside Brasserie – Guests cannot pre reserve tables so it is best to arrive early and enjoy your al fresco style lunch.
The Terrace – A self-service restaurant offering lunch, afternoon tea and supper. Snacks, light refreshments and hot and cold drinks are also available throughout the day.
Roof Top Bar – Offering great views of the outside court’s guests can enjoy gourmet sandwiches, finger food, seafood platters whilst enjoying a glass of Pimm’s or Champagne, wines, beers, soft drinks and tea/coffee.
The Gallery – Has a bar with a balcony overlooking courts 14-17. Serves drinks, ploughman’s, sushi, sandwiches and snacks throughout the day.
Number One Court Restaurants
The Renshaw Restaurant – Named after the famous Renshaw twins this is the most formal and inclusive restaurant located on Number One Court offering a welcome glass of Pimm’s or Champagne, a three-course meal, complimentary bar and afternoon tea.
The Veranda – This offers casual dining and has a two course Italian menu for lunch. Afternoon tea is also available along with a selection of light bites throughout the day.
The Lounge – A self-service restaurant opens from 1030am until the early evening offering lunch, afternoon tea, supper and drinks. It has great views of courts 15,16 & 17.
The No.1 Bar – Serves drinks throughout the day along with sandwiches and sushi for lunch. Sweets, savoury snacks are also available and there is a bar for drinks.
What is the Wimbledon Debenture lounge dress code?
The dress code for the Debenture lounges within Wimbledon Centre and Number One Court is smart casual. Gentlemen are not required to wear a suit with shirt and tie. However it is advised not to wear torn denim, sports attire, running gear or dirty shoes. Tailored shorts are allowed.
